WHAT THE FUCK I LISTENED TO YESTERDAY
"When you find yourself. Things change."
I don't know what that has to do with this blog entry but that's what been on my mind heavily lately. Just thought I'd share that. Let's begin. Shall we?
ERIC DONTE - GOD DON'T LIKE UGLY
The late, great Tupac Shakur said it best "God don't like ugly, it was written." Eric Donte is a interesting fellow. He has a very happy, sad, dark, aura with sprinkles of sunshine. I've heard him perform. I didn't physically see him perform. At VIBES (Event in St.Louis) I was working the door and the stage was right behind me. I missed seeing all the performances but I heard them all and Eric really received a lot of love from the crowd. When I asked people who's performance they enjoyed Eric's name came up a lot.
Behind the scenes in helping with VIBES and seeing what he was planning to do I thought to myself "This nigga on some M.C Hammer shit." M.C Hammer is one of the greatest performers to ever live I don't give a fuck what any one thinks. When Hammer performed you remembered that shit. It showed me Eric really cares for his craft and takes this shit seriously. We need more people like that on this planet.
This EP is the first time I've heard any music from Eric so whatever is old to everyone else is new to me. The mood of it is how I described his aura earlier. Dark with glimpses of light. Emotions aren't really set on this EP they're always fleeting and that's what makes it interesting to me. It's really a hypnotizing project. I really like the track "Litty Kitty" it makes me feel like kissing bitches in the mouth, get high, and share my sour patch kids. Sounds like a Acid Trip. I like "Turn Up With My Friends Now" also because I really love my friends and turning up with them old and new as should you. Great work from Eric Donte. Definitely has his own lane. Check out his EP below.
SEALS - GAS
Probably my favorite artist at the moment. Makes relatable content so that's why I fuck with him. This EP is 4 tracks of straight heat. Seals has been on fire on some NBA Jam arcade shit lately. All shit I can slide in the streets to while inspired. Check Seals "ZEN" music video too.
AxJ feat MVSTERMIND - ROLL BOUNCE
Aye I never seen the movie "Roll Bounce" but I've heard the song. I only seen a scene where Bow Wow destroys a car like a Street Fighter II Turbo bonus stage. This joint smooth as a mothafucka though.
LOTTIEE DENISE - OPEN LETTER
Aye I reviewed this a week ago. I'm still playing it because it's a project I like to hear when I'm alone with my thoughts and the music is dope. Oh and taking notes on why I shouldn't piss any woman off in life. Ever. Listen below.
MYRION TWO - NOT A DRILL 3
Myrion got all the jams. All the hooks on point. Loved the production. He's crooning on all these hooks and like I said before about his music it makes you want to sing along. I'm doing the dash on 70 east singing "I DON'T NEED A LUUUUUUUNNNNNNCH BREAK." This shit be hitting a nigga soul. Matter fact. #SoGoneChallenge did numbers so I wanna see a #IntoYouChallenge. I need women to make videos of themselves dancing to "Into You" as if they 5 shots of Patron in and they work at King Of Diamonds. The best #IntoYouChallenge I'll buy you Imos that's easily a $200 date. I'm serious. This really not a drill. Do that shit. Myrion has talent that can take his art worldwide. Definitely has a sound that can appeal to all audiences. Not A Drill 3 is definitely worthy of all Aux cords. Click the link below and listen.

DJ JTR3Y - I MISS THE OLD GUWOP
I'm happy to see Gucci new lifestyle. Healthy. Money. Bad chick. It's great but I really do miss the old Guwop. JTr3y blessed the streets with a mini mix of best of highlights from the Trap God.
VANACANA - SUPER SMASH MUSIC VIDEO
One of my favorite songs of the summer and I played it in my super whip driving super fast. Dope trippy music video that does the song justice. Video below.
