I just want to share my business beliefs.
Hope this helps a lot of people.
YOU’RE A SERVANT
Whatever you do in business you’re a servant. Even if you own your business and make millions of dollars you’re a servant. I’m no different. Yes I write for myself but I also write for the people. I want to help the people. I’m here to serve. The ones that don’t believe they serve the people don’t last in business. Even the most narcissistic businessman or woman knows they can’t achieve stature or money without the people.
DO THINGS PEOPLE AREN’T WILLING TO DO
There’s a person who would work for free for years under someone just to learn the respective field they’re in. They would be willing to struggle just to get their foot into the door. How many people are willing to do that? Not many. To take a vital step in business you have to do something people aren’t willing to do. Something that may not excite others.
PLAN, EXECUTE, WHATEVER, REPEAT
This is the game. No matter how you look at it. You plan. You execute. Then there’s the result. Then you do it all over again. There is no in between. You can’t skip one or the other or it’s going to be difficult for you and possible catastrophe.
SHOW UP
Just show up. Half of the battle is showing up. Yes there will be people more talented than you. Yes there will be people will more resources than you. People can have both of those things and fail by not showing up. Everyone has to show up to make a difference and be effective. Show up and get to work.
ONE THING AT A TIME
Remember the chasing the rabbit analogy. You chase 1 rabbit you’re likely to catch one. Try to chase 2 you will lose both rabbits and you’ll be empty handed. Focus on one thing at a time until it’s completed and mastered then move onto the next project that has your interest. A lot of people get started on building a building and then move on from it during construction then start on another building and then everything in their life is confusion and incomplete.
Just focus on one thing at a time.
CREATE VISION
If you can’t see where you’re going than what is likely to happen? You’re going to get lost. Everything I’ve done for my company I’ve had a vision for. It gave me clarity and I was able to execute. Once you’re able to visualize what you want your company or work to look like it will be easier for you build.
1 GOAL PER QUARTER
Make 4 goals for 1 year. Every major goal can be broken down into parts. It’s like chopping down a tree. Chop the overall goal down in parts. One quarter I could work on marketing. Another quarter I could work on content. You understand what I’m saying.
SHARE IDEAS AND INFORMATION
You ever see influencers, entrepreneurs, have videos on youtube and they’ll tell you they have the secrets to success but in order to unlock those secrets you have to buy their $1000 E-book or course? Spoiler alert. There is no secret. They’re not sharing any information you didn’t already know and now you’re out of $1000 and you could of used that money to invest in your business. The ones who share information without charging people go further than the ones who do. Information has no importance if it’s not used or executed upon and the majority of people who obtain information don’t do anything with it. Share ideas and information and continue to work hard on your business. You won’t lose if you share info or ideas.
RESPOND TO THE PEOPLE
Your business not bigger than the people. You’re not bigger than the people. The people make or break your business. Respond and interact with the people interested in what you have going on. You’d be surprised at how many aspiring entrepreneurs believe that they’re above this. Interact with as many people as possible.
