WHAT THE FUCK I LISTENED TO YESTERDAY
Back for a lil bit. Lemme keep this short.
MILE HYY CLUB - STEVE N. CLAIR
You gotta hop off a plane and play this shit on a beach and dance like T.I in the “Why U Wanna” music video. Hella tropical vibes. Oh I did a ad-lib on this track too. Classic Benny Rodriguez.
VICE CITY 3 - SEAN DEAUX
Remember in Godfather 3 when Michael has the meeting with Connie, Al Neri, and Vincent in his kitchen after the Atlantic City Massacre? And Michael says “Just when I thought I was out they pull me back in.” Didn’t know Vice City 3 was dropping. Before Vice City 3 I mean I was out here wholesome, eating my vegetables, podcasting, living life like Chance The Rapper verses, not taking niggas shorties. I hear Follies one time and the debauchery has found it’s way back into my limbs and I’m back sucking pretty girls toes off the tequila. When the clock hits 10pm it’s Vice City 3 hours and an excuse for me to act like an irresponsible piece of shit and have a shorty eat to go plates with me while Big Dawg Status playing in the background. You ain’t lived life til you on the highway on a 70 degree night playing “Jugg Up” and you send out the “omw” text.
THE RATCHET TAPE - KVTHEWRITER
The more the tape goes on the nastier the tape gets. Y’all know my motto. If she ain’t nasty I don’t want her. By track 3 we in stick it in her bootyhole territory. I was like okay. Proceed. I forgot the exact lyric but it was on “Dickprint.” Speaking of that song, That’s a song I could see on Insecure, Euphoria or like a Netflix series. It sounds like a raunchy TV placement. The “I’m In Love” track just shows me niggas would end their friendship over pussy and that Jesus loves me so much that he’s kept me away from Club Mystic. Any nigga at Mystic deserves to lose a friendship over titties. I only get invited to Mystic on Facebook thus why you never see me on Facebook. Girls Gone Wild Pt 1 I just envisioned myself eating rotel while 2 shorties give each other mouth. I have no money so jokes on them. Girls Gone Wild Pt 2 my favorite song on the project, very nostalgic, performance wise it’s KV’s best performance on the project, and best part is that I can get unlimited wall dances to it. Haven’t heard anything that embodies hot girl summer like The Ratchet Tape.
OFF WITH THEY HEADS - COOLEY BROS. KEEM
Played this in my car today and I like the hooks and a lot of the samples on this shit. Some of the hooks and lyrics hella funny and somewhat animated and have personality to em. It’s like a comic book for real niggas. It just stays at this chill and steady pace for the entire album. The album reminds me of one big smoke session.
RETROGRADE - DJ NICO
Here’s Nico ready to take us home with Retrotogoplates. Something like that. A lot of St.Louis shit on this one. Extra fye ass mix.
HOL UP FORGOT TO ADD MY NIGGA DOM VENICE.
THE COST TO PLAY - DOM VENICE
This the manual of how to get to the ends. Smooth production front to back as usual. Listening to this bending corners around the Lou understanding that I gotta invest in myself for the prosper. In the words of The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase “Everything has a cost. Everybody gotta pay.” Tap in.
Peace
