POLITE VIBES: WHAT THE FUCK I LISTENED TO YESTERDAY

Just me sharing some tunes to the world I was vibin to. Good friends pass good tunes to others. Last night while I was writing a article I was listening to the local wave of talent where I'm from. Here's what the fuck I listened to yesterday. 

DANTE WOLFE - THE GOD COMPLEX

This is an interesting project. This is the journey of a kid that believes in god's power and believes god is in his spirit but struggling with pleasing god and fighting the demons presented in his lane. He's living in hell in the form of fake people, drugs, crooked police, street life, poisonous relationships in order to receive what heaven has to offer. You ever do the right thing and shit still don't go your way, so you just think damn I might as well do wrong? This is majority of the project in my opinion. Society won't treat you right you feel you have to do wrong. My favorite joints were "Poison Ivy", "Forever Black"(Dope Winehouse Sample), and the gully "Spirit Of GFK." "This a verse for my friends cause my foes ain't got no heart" Dante went in on that shit and the project as a whole. 

DJJTR3Y - STAR TRIP.N

Wish I was high listening to this with a baddie but it's on my to do list so I'm not tripping. I'll be Star Trip.N soon enough. This is a smooth mix of wavy instrumentals that definitely put your mood in the clouds. Just a very smooth mix by TR3Y. He has other mixes of different speeds also on his soundcloud page if you want to check them out after you come off this high. 

CIEJ - DRAMATIC ACID

THIS SHIT FEELS LIKE ONE BIG ASS TRIP. This is audio LSD. I felt like Raoul Duke in Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas listening to this project. The trippy and unorthodox production with Ciej's wavy flow puts you in a trance where you have to keep running the project back. This shit definitely helped me get some work done while I was playing in the background. Guess you can say it brought out the artistic vibe in my spirit. I played "Novurr[ghostface] a good 10 times before I got to the next track. Definitely a dope project and trip.
