NIKEE TURBO - TRAP DEMON

Okay I have no clue how I came across this short film on youtube but for some reason I watched it and the story was actually really creative. A mobile phone that possesses whoever traps with it. Borderline genius writing.

After watching the short movie I see the name but Nikee Turbo in my recommended videos section and the first video I watched was "Gas." This nigga energy is always on 110. He has that Busta Rhymes energy from the 90's but he raps about trappin.

I watched about 8 of his videos after I finished that one and all of them where very high energy and high octane flows. Nikee is a very entertaining artist. After watching the videos I checked out "Trap Demon" the soundtrack/mixtape to the movie.

Nikee has the "It" factor and the tape is entertaining. You learn about his mindset and his upbringing. The reason why he move how he move and why he the dopest young nigga in the city. DANTE WOLFE - CARLTON AVE

Dante Wolfe is back with a new album with dark, smooth, and jazzy production and this time he's more in depth with the subject matter.

Dante is a very honest artist and I respect that about him. He's not biting anyone's sound he's not following the sound trends in music today he's just doing him.

On Carlton Ave he walks the tightrope between heaven and hell. College struggles and side hustles. It's like he said "Everyday it's like I'm living two lives" and he sticks with that narrative the whole project.

Almost failing out, hustling, losing financial aid, and finally receiving his degree 2 years later after walking across the stage, Dante highlights his obstacles and shows us you can still prevail. Check Carlton Ave below.

FRESHANOVA - NOVA BY NATURE

One of the most versatile projects out here. Lyrical. Nice flow. Good melodies that are well placed and are not drowned in autotune. Freshanova flexes his artistry all over this album.

You hear a man who is very tunnel visioned and knows what he wants out of everything and everyone he comes across in life.
