WHAT THE FUCK I LISTENED TO YESTERDAY
I'm having one good ass week and some good people are dropping some good ass music. Hopefully I put on all of you good ass people out there reading my blog onto this good ass music so you can have some good vibes. Everything good. On me. Music and life is good. When you see the football head you know what time it is. What the fuck did I listen to yesterday?
MVSTERMIND - MALI MOOLAH
Mvstermind been in the shadows for a good minute. Nothing to worry about though. He not slacking. He's crafting shit. In the words of Life Guru DJ Khaled "He's up to something." Here we have "Mali Moolah" where Mvstermind talks financials. Marbles. Fetti. Moolah. The goal of his hard work with this music shit but reminds you he doesn't compromise his soul or beliefs to attain the gwop. "I knew my worth since birth, I don't need no money," explains it all. I like this joint a lot. It's very wavy so press play and go get you some of that never ignorant getting goals money.
BROCK SEALS - LIVE
Produced by 4Deep artist/producer TheePharoah. Seals come through with more of that kickback music for you to get lit to. The function music. The "I don't know what's in my cup but it's fire" music. A song about living in the moment and getting live in that moment. This life shit tough so we might as well get shit live. "Thinking bout how blessed I am I roll one on the bible." I feel that! Check out "LIVE" below
J'DEMUL - SUMMER'S MINE PT 1
He just dropped his project STLave and from the look of things he don't plan on stopping or slowing down. Smart man. He hit us with something real quick on the gritty "Summer's Mine Pt.1." A hard hitting bass line on this joint and takes us on a journey on sliding with his homie, robbing, mobbing, evading police. A very vivid picture J'Demul paints. The anger and lack of remorse he shows on the track fits the beat perfectly. Check out "Summer's Mine Pt 1" below.
SMINO - MENU
The tag team champions are back. The Outsiders (Hall and Nash) or if that's too violent for you guys we can just call them a cool duo like Max and PJ from the classic "A Goofy Movie." Whatever is fine just know the music from the duo of Smino and Monte Booker is some real smooth groovy shit. Here we have "MENU." Smino flow on point as usual and he's spitting clever lines of just trying to get it in with his shorty. He's really nice at getting in the pocket of production. Monte Booker brings that lively and colorful production assisted by THEMpeople and it'll have you hypnotized and your shorty ready to make it clap every time she walk in the room like a sitcom as Smino so eloquently put it. Light one and listen to "MENU."
VANACANA - SUPER SMASH
I played this shit a lot yesterday. This track will have you moving, waved the fuck out, and super smashing the gas in the whip, your chick, your vices, whatever. I recommend these DJ's in St.Louis add this to their rotation immediately. I can see this going all the way up if it's performed live. Put Hoodrich Pablo Juan on the remix for the culture. The artwork was created by RellBrodie (@rellBRODIE on Twitter) Press play and start jigging below.
4DEEP - 420 ESSENTIALS
4Deep is the future. Here we have 4 separate tracks from all 4 members with 4 different feelings, missions, and emotions. J.Pounds is celebrating life. BreauxGawd wants to make it official with a lil foreign thang that's his type. TheePharoah is on the way to Denver to a Broncos game. Coors Field. Ski slopes and for the finest dank dank. Chad Savage is floating on Xannies and Trees while fucking bitches. There's a mood for everyone on these songs. I fucked with all 4 tracks and the production on all of them. These 4 songs are a preview to what's to come very soon. Trust me. Keep the tree rolled and your ears to the streets for 4Deep.
