ZODIAC SIGNS AS ANIME CHARACTERS

ARIES = MONKEY D. LUFFY (ONE PIECE)

Monkey D. Luffy is the main character of the best long term anime series of all time One Piece. He exudes Aries energy. He is very outgoing, a natural talent, always has luck on his side because of his belief in himself, he craves freedom, he cannot sit still he has to go on an adventure. Being on the move is his calling card. He befriends almost everyone he comes in contact with. He loves his friends and will protect his friends no matter the cost. If Luffy was going through this quarantine he would go insane. 

TAURUS = SHIKAMARU NARA (NARUTO)

Shikamaru is a Taurus because he is very smart, conservative, creative, and lazy. Shikamaru could be a Hokage if he wanted but he just doesn’t desire it. He has the abilities to obtain it but he rather chill at home. He’s introverted mainly because it’s the coziest option. If he does desire something then he’s very perseverant to achieve it. Keyword “IF.” He’s very talented and stubborn. It’s rare that you can change Shikamaru’s mind about anything like a Taurus. 

GEMINI = JOHAN LIEBERT (MONSTER)

Johan Liebert is a terrible person. Quite possibly the greatest anime villain of all time. But there are 2 sides to Johan. The good side of him is that he’s very charming and smart. He’s a pleasure to be around and he has a great creative nature. With gemini it’s either self sabotage or they will attempt to sabotage someone else’s life. You never know what you’re going to get with Johan Liebert. Does he really like you or is he just entertaining you for entertainment? 

CANCER = IZUKU MIDORIYA (MY HERO ACADEMIA)

Deku is very sensitive and very caring just like a Cancer. He’s one of the most gentle characters ever. When you’re his friend he will always go out his way to take care of you or check on you. He is also dedicated and intuitive like a Cancer 

LEO = RYUKO MATOI (KILL LA KILL) 

Ryuko does entirely too much. She’s very arrogant and very outspoken but her confidence is unwavering. Nothing is out of her league. Now that could be to her detriment but she usually wins because of her nature. She moves with zero fear and is willing to die for what she believes in if need be. Leo’s are fierce. They stand on their convictions and are loyal. Right or wrong everything a Leo does is done proudly. 

VIRGO = DEATH THE KID (SOUL EATER)

Death The kid is a perfectionist and picky. That is a Virgo. Everything about Death The Kid’s personality is about perfection. His favorite number is 8 because of it’s perfect symmetry. He is very detailed and will have no problem correcting people. He refuses to participate in anything that does not meet up to his standards. Virgo’s are about orderliness and being worshipped as the God’s they are. At times it’s funny and sometimes it’s annoying but they think very highly of themselves and their capabilities. Virgo’s are also very helpful people but they rarely brag about it or even mention it. Helping people is second nature to them. Sometimes to a fault.

LIBRA = VASH THE STAMPEDE (TRIGUN)

Vash The Stampede is very non violent. Very peaceful in nature despite the mayhem that follows him in the series Trigun. He doesn’t like to hurt people but if you push him to the edge he will fuck you up. Like really put holes in you with the blicky. That’s a Libra’s nature. Vash is very charming, he’s great with people, he’s indecisive, he forgets things, he’s sort of lazy just like a Libra but his spirit is very artistic and beautiful. 

SCORPIO = SPIKE SPIEGEL (COWBOY BEBOP) 

Spike Spiegel is a mystery for the majority of Cowboy Bebop. He’s a mysterious guy. Even when he lets you in on his past he’s still very vague. He’s independent and likes to move alone, he relies on his instincts and intuition. He also very suspicious of everything, arrogant, and possessive. The more people that came aboard his ship the more irritated he became. Spike is a Scorpio through and through. 

SAGITTARIUS = MUGEN (SAMURAI CHAMPLOO) 

Mugen the break dancing swordsman is reckless, forgetful, careless and makes a ton of rash decisions in Samurai Champloo just like a Sagittarius would on a daily basis. A sag would forget their own wedding day. Mugen is a very brave and a lively person. You see it in his fighting style. Mugen is also very impatient like a Sagittarius and will promise things he know he can’t deliver to you. Mugen also does not like clinginess since he’s all about freedom. If you try to cling to Mugen he’ll just find you repulsive. Sagittarius do not like being constrained. 

CAPRICORN = DUKE TOGO (GOLGO 13) 

Duke Togo is probably the most practical anime character ever. He’s not into theory or ideas. He’s into if something can be used or if something can be done. He’s a hitman. He is death personified. He’s the most persistent character. He’s not going home until the mission is complete. He is also very reliable. He’s never failed a job he was hired for. Duke’s intelligence is also on another level. Place any test in front of him he’ll ace it. That’s a Capricorn. 

AQUARIUS = GOHAN (DRAGONBALL Z) 

Gohan sees the good in everyone or at least tries to. He gets it from his Dad Goku. But that trait always seems to get him betrayed in some way or form. An Aquarius will see the good in a lot of people with questionable character, invite them into their life, realize that the person is terrible, and then complain about it like it’s everyone else’s fault. Nobody told you to trust that person. Aquarius are also smart like Gohan and they have this weird need to be a rebel. Even in situations where being a rebel isn’t needed they’ll find someway to be a rebel. Their independence is rooted in rebellion. It’s not about being independent because it’s better than being dependent. It’s about being independent because it’s proving someone in their life or their surroundings wrong. Gohan was the same way with his mother Chi-Chi. A lot of his behavior is rooted in rebellion against his mother and proving her wrong. 

PISCES = SIMON THE DIGGER (GURREN LAGANN) 

Simon is really chill, always to himself, and he’s very insightful when he’s not being shy and observant. There’s more to him than the surface level. He’s timid and closed off but when he’s not being timid and show his talents and gifts he’s an extraordinary person. He’s very indecisive which has gotten him burned in the Gurren Lagann series and he can be overly emotional and sensitive but at the end of the day he’s kind and conscious like a Pisces.
