CREATIVE MOTIVATIONS
THE 4 CREATIVE MOTIVATIONS.
BASIC MOTIVATIONS
Your spirit. Your soul. Your mind. Your body. These are the basic needs for creativity. I’m not trying to sound like some energy and vibe ass nigga that reads your palms and shit but for me personally I can’t function creatively if these things aren’t aligned or in good shape. There is no motivation without these entities. These are your shelter for your creative endeavors. This is the water for your creativity. It’s basic survival. If you succeed with your creativity and abuse any of these then it won’t be long before you implode and wither away and all motivation to do anything is lost. These are the motivations that fuel your curiosity. Fuel your desires. Help you deal with fear and guilt when trying to find your creative footing. When it doubt or when you feel like you’re stuck creatively come back to your spirit, soul, mind, and body. Cleanse them and see how everything feels welcoming.
FULFILLMENT MOTIVATIONS
If there’s something that you feel is unfulfilling in your life then it’s likely it’s effecting your creativity. You’re likely to try and fill in the gap so you can have the gas to create. It can range from a lot of things you can feel that you’re lacking friendship or a team. You can feel that you’re lacking an experience in your life and that can be like a trip to a certain city or different country. Love and the feeling of belonging can be a fulfillment motivation. Finding enlightenment. Working on your confidence and being aware of your emotions and emotional well being. Working towards those feelings can motivate your creativity.
POINTLESS MOTIVATIONS
Creating to prove people wrong. You may have family and friends on your back telling you aggressively or passive aggressively that you need to find something else to do and that your creativity isn’t worth investing or believing in. They may not be supportive of anything you do in your life. That may fuel or motivate you. You may see society move in a direction that don’t align with what you’re creating or what you believe in and that motivates you to create even more. The pressure to fit in is a bitch. The revenge factor where you had people you don’t care about hating on what you create. Somebody was disloyal to you and that fuels you. You sense and feel the jealousy aimed in your direction and that makes you wanna create better than anyone on the planet. You wanna succeed just so you can have all the women or men adore you. Like I told my young nigga the other day. Having a bunch of women don’t equal success. You can be broke and get unlimited amounts of pussy. If you need money to get women then you just insecure as fuck. You having money and success just means you a lottery ticket to everybody on your dick. All the things I just stated are empty motivations. People feel that they succeed because these negatives motivated them but I feel they would’ve succeeded without those negatives occurring in their lives. I’m just not into giving credit to fuck shit. That was all you. You giving credit to those things are more for your ego. You gone eat regardless. Keep your face up and carry yourself like that. We solid over here we’ll never let hate motivate anything we do. Only love.
MOTIVATION OF FEAR
A lot of us create with the thought of not living with any regrets. We gotta at least try. The fear of regret fucks with all of us. We gotta live life to the fullest before we leave this mothafucka. Death motivates us. Leaving a legacy behind us. Pain from losing loved ones and creating in their honor. The fear of being embarrassed or humiliated will motivate us to create some of the best shit of our lives. Creating to obtain financial security for ourselves and loved ones. Creating to protect them from harm. Creating to inspire the youth to move towards positivity because we fear they may go down the wrong path. Creating in poverty and using creativity to escape the abuse of the streets or abuse of people. Fear is needed. Without fear we would be sociopaths. If you have no fear then you have no soul. You’re just a black hole. You’re the abyss. We’re supposed to work in tandem with our fears. Fear stops us from descending into madness (Oooh that sounded like some Shakespeare shit). Our only job is to not let fear drive the car because fear will leave that bitch in park. You just gotta tell fear to hop in the passenger, sit back and ride. Fear motivates me to create everyday but it don’t run shit over here and that’s the difference.
Peace
