NOBODY SLEEPING ON YOU

Everybody is awake. 

Wide awake. 

The problem is that you’re not thinking big enough or you’re just a narcissist. 

Support is a weird thing. In this creative world of ours you need support to turn what you love to do into your career but in the same breath you shouldn’t really care about it. The people who crave support for their business or creativity I don’t really care about. When I think about support I think about people who are suicidal. People who have drug addictions. People who are bi-polar. Those are the individuals who need support and I am more than okay with those people asking and begging for support. That’s life or death.

The people who aren’t good at what they do or haven’t taken the best steps begging for support is what I don’t care about. I don’t give a fuck about your Facebook and twitter friends not supporting your lash business or your boutique or your music career. You will be okay. The world won’t stop. I promise you. 

I just want people to really sit down and think out every possibility before they declare to the world that people are sleeping on them.  Support is like money to me. When you chase money you never really get it. When don’t pay money any mind you get paid. That’s with everything in life. Not just money. Have you really sat down and thought about WHY you’re not getting it. Remove your pride and your ego from the equation and really critique what you’re doing. You’ll find the problem and why you’re not receiving support if you’re honest with yourself. It’s easy to lie to yourself and others because you have the OPTION to hold yourself accountable. It’s like robbing a bank and getting away with it. You’re not just going to give the money away to the homeless are you? No. It’s going to be all about buying things you couldn’t afford before the money. It’s going to be about greed. The same could be said for what I’m talking about now. You’re not going to use that accountability on yourself. You’re going to give it to someone else or a situation because your ego is the greediest part of you. Your ego can’t live off accountability. Your ego only survives being fed delusion and deflection. Excuses are the richest form of nutrition for the ego. 

You can’t force the square peg into the circle. If you force it to fit you will never feel right and you will break something. Stop trying to force whatever you’re chasing and really ask yourself if you’re on the right path. Is this really meant for you? It’s okay if it’s not because you’re not wasting your time or anyone else time anymore and you’re a step closer to your blessing. You’re a step closer to the destiny that was meant for you. It’s okay to think practical. Everything can’t be manifested. I can’t manifest going to the NBA. No matter how many laws of attraction books I read. No matter how much I meditate. No matter if I dribble a basketball 24 hours a day I will not make it to the NBA as a basketball player. It’s not thinking negatively. It’s thinking practical. It’s not bad energy. It’s the facts. Stop trying to force spiritual shit into your mediocrity. Figure out what the fuck you’re doing wrong and fix it. Simple. 

Are you adding value? What value does your creativity adds to someones life besides your own? If you’re not adding value to my life then why should I spend my time on what you’re trying to sell to me. If I go to Home Depot and I need hardwood floors I’m not going to go buy tiles for a bathroom. I’m here for hardwood floors. Some creatives problem is that they’re figuratively trying to sell seafood to people who are allergic to seafood and will not fuck with it and then complain about how no one is supporting them and people are sleeping on them. You’re moving towards the people who have no interest in what you’re doing. That’s not their fault, they didn’t ask for the shit you’re trying to sell to them. That’s all on you. That’s your fault. Everybody is not meant to receive what you’re creating. You think everybody likes what I write? Fuck no? You think I care? Fuck no. I love writing. I’ll do it for free. I’ll do it for pay. Either way I’m going to write. 

Is everybody a hater? Is everybody jealous of you? Why would anyone be jealous of something they’re not paying attention to? You’re on social media complaining about the lack of attention you’re getting and somehow people are jealous of that? That doesn’t make sense. What if you’re just not good at what you do? Again, people do not analyze at all so it’s very difficult for them to come to this conclusion. They refuse to reach this answer and it’s fucked up because it will give them the most clarity about what they’re truly meant for. 

People gotta learn how to live their life for themselves and not for other people. What I mean is that do shit without thinking about support. Do you enjoy what you’re doing? Does it make you happy? Okay great keep doing it. I just interviewed a legendary DJ last night and the common theme of his story was that everything he did was out of joy. He did not care if he was supported at all and he ended up receiving one of the greatest jobs ever. He just enjoyed what the fuck he was doing. He did not care about support. He just kept doing what he loved. 

There are billions of people in the world and you’re worried about less than 100 people in your community sleeping on you and not supporting you. No one is sleeping on you. Everybody is awake. You’re sleeping on yourself because you’re not using the ability of self awareness that we all possess and assessing your life from a standpoint of reality. You’re smarter than you think but you refuse to apply any rational thought to why you don’t receive support. It’s your choice if you want to evolve or not. You’re thinking TOO small. You have to own your purpose and sleeping on yourself is a great way to fumble what you’re truly meant to do.
