Molly and Andrew is forced. There’s zero chemistry it’s just sex scenes, corny jokes that don’t land, and them arguing about shit you see a college couple argue about. This whole scene does highlight Molly inability to communicate with anyone. Doesn’t matter who it is. If dude wouldn’t had asked her about work she would’ve never said shit.
Condola is NOT the type to not get back to someone about business especially in something her name is attached to. She’s a cross every T and dot every I kinda woman. She’s salty about the shit with Lawrence and she not fucking with Issa no more.
Again Molly assumes that Andrew wouldn’t be bothered by cancelled plans. Her whole character is just a woman who is full of assumptions that revolves her whole life around men. Everything that she does revolves around a man or the dynamics of men behavior. The self care Sundays she did with Issa are about men. Her beef with her dad. When she’s just chilling with her friends she’s usually the first person to bring up men. Without men her life is a successful blank page.

When Issa was looking up local LA artists I damn near prayed that that nigga Daniel with the jaw line stronger than a pickle jar top was not on his way back on my Sunday nights.
LA got a lotta local talent tho Issa could’ve got a cold lineup without trying.
Molly expects the most out of people and gives nowhere near what she asks for. That whole date scene summed that up.
Okay Issa fucked up by not at least pretending to give a fuck about Molly’s life and going straight into asking for a favor but Molly gotta shut that down right there and say we’re not in a good place for favors. Molly thought that Issa was calling to clear the air but Issa selfishly went into her work issue and Molly just told her that work was crazy at Tiffany crib. I woulda stopped that convo quick and address the issues.
Molly not wrong for not helping Issa but she is definitely the type switch up on her friends after she gets a man and that’s kind of the feeling I get from the scene. It’s just a game of tit for tat at this point. You see a slick remark, I say a more hurtful one. You want this parking space? No it’s mine cause I’m mad at you. You don’t care about how I’m feeling, I don’t care about you feeling. IF YOU’RE HURT THEN SPEAK THE FUCK UP! She never stands up for herself until she’s backed into a corner or until a man is involved. The fact that she can have open uncomfortable conversations with Andrew who she hasn’t even known a year but is unable to have uncomfortable conversations with Issa who’s been her friend for years is fucking beyond me. If her and Issa was still in a good place she would’ve called Andrew and asked right then and there. No problem. The reason she told Issa why she didn’t do it was complete bullshit and yet again another case of fake shit. Instead of saying the REAL reason she’s not helping Issa which is because our friendship is bitter, she hides behind this man. Also if asking somebody you’re with for a favor would jeopardize the relationship then you have a deeper problem. If you can’t have conversations that are uncomfortable with your friends then were they your friends to begin with or just a friendly associate? Can they just fight already? I’m over it. These women are in their 30’s bruh. 30’s.
